Grading Guide

Below is the grading guide that we use to grade all of our stock and this will be included in each listing

Excellent: No signs of wear/use, in pristine/clean condition

Deadstock: An unused ex-shop stock item, labels/tags may still be attached, however these will not be new as they would have most certainly been in storage for many years.

Very Good: The item may have small signs of pre-wear/use, minor faults or a minor repair in a non obvious place

Good: Shows signs of pre-use/wear, there may have been some repairs, small pin sized holes, faint marks & signs of fading, but the item is still very wearable/useable.

Fair: Shows signs of use/wear, but is a desirable vintage piece and is still of useable quality in its present state. Any faults will be included in the item description.

Handmade: A piece that has been made at home either from a pattern or a hand crafted item, but has been made to high standards.

Raw: Is exactly as it suggests, these pieces are in un-touched condition, these have not been repaired and are sold `as is` condition. All pieces in this grade are sold solely for theatrical, fancy dress or re-working. These are not suitable in there sold state for everyday wear/use, they will most likely show signs of pre-use, stains, holes, open seams, chips etc.
